How It Works
1. Email Invitation
Each participant is sent an e-mail with a link to complete their questionnaire. We’ll set you up with everything you need to do this.
2. Complete the questionnaire online
The questionnaire takes around 20 minutes to complete and asks the individual to answer questions on how they tend to behave in certain situations.
3. Request feedback from others
Upon completion of the questionnaire, individuals are asked to invite up to 6 friends who know them well to complete a quick 5-minute questionnaire about them.
4. Receive the report
The reports can be e-mailed directly to the participant, to you, or both. The report comes in a workbook, giving detailed personal guidance and advice based on the individual’s Team Role behaviours.
5. Complete the workbook
The workbook guides the individual through the report, helping them reflect on the information contained within it, and compile a personal statement at the end.
6. Lesson plans and slides
Use our comprehensive lesson plans and slides as part of your own Belbin GetSet session, to enhance and embed learning and development, or let the Belbin team run it for you!
Belbin GetSet for schools and colleges
Belbin GetSet offers a unique opportunity to understand the behavioural needs and contributions of young people who have little or no work experience. It is a unique and effective resource for PSHE and careers days and team/self-development sessions, either within education or on a work placement.
Belbin GetSet helps young people understand the importance of team working, improves their self-awareness and improves their ability to work well with other people.
The Belbin GetSet questionnaire takes 15 minutes to complete and the resulting report and workbook will help students discover their behavioural strengths.
We also provide step-by-step feedback guides and a lesson plan/activities planner, so you can help individuals digest the key information and answer any questions they might have about Belbin GetSet.
There’s also an option to have a workshop run by the Belbin GetSet team, we tailor these to suit your students and budget – get in touch with us for more information on info@belbin.com.ng
How does it work?
Invitations to complete a Belbin GetSet report are sent out by email, the questionnaire is completed online and then the report is generated and emailed back (to the organiser, the student or both). You can then print the reports and workbooks to distribute and work through in your Belbin GetSet session.
Start young people speaking the language of business
Belbin is renowned and respected in many organisations worldwide, so using the language of Belbin, through GetSet, gives young people an entry-point into the world of work.
A Belbin GetSet report can help potential employers to see how an applicant might fit into their team or highlight the strengths they might be able to bring to a job. The programme also assists young people with CV-writing by encouraging them to use appropriate and positive language.

Belbin Getset for University Students
We have adapted the Belbin questionnaires and reports to meet the needs of students who are yet to enter the world of work, but who are expected to work with others as part of their continuing studies and will benefit from learning the language of Team Roles to give them a head start when starting their career
Forming study groups/teams
At the start of a module, students can be placed into balanced teams. This can be through peer assisted learning (PAL) or directed by a lecturer. This can help the team to acheive their potential and help lecturers and tutors ensure teams are fair.
Careers and guidance
Belbin GetSet will give students a language for talking about their strengths in interviews and during the application process. The Belbin language is well known in the professional world and having prior knowledge and the ability to talk about their strengths will give them a head start
Work placement project teams
Students on placements within organisations can be placed into balanced project teams.
Team working
Students on courses where team working is covered in the syllabus will find the language of Belbin and the GetSet reports very useful.
Belbin GetSet Workshops
Bringing a subject to life is a great way to help learning stick. We believe that giving young people the opportunity to learn about theory, as well as completing practical exercises, will give them a more enjoyable and memorable session.
